Synopsis

Hikaru died in a traffic accident, and his soul entered purgatory where it queued in line to receive judgement. Most of the souls proceeded higher up into the sky, but Hikaru had left the queue before he even realized. There, what he saw was the harassing and tormenting of the deceased by others. Feeling disgusted, Hikaru’s gaze met that of a youth who was being bullied and he struck back against the bully. After departing from the youth, an aristocratic young man who looked obviously out of place called out to Hikaru, commending him for his quick-wittedness and bravery.
